All this began this morning: me reading about holocaust (yea, we meet again, though it makes me mad every time like all the other sick things people have done and still do) on a newspaper. There was this old fella who's the only one still alive in Finland who survived... you know...from there. Anyway, I read, read and read and read. It was sick, sad, *anger* and sad. Then I stopped: "Oh, he made money with fur farming after he came to Finland from Poland after the war. Many years. Nice." So he killed other animals with gas (or if he didn't do that by himself he was working where some other people do that anyway.... and they actually didn't even use gas then...actually gas is kinda nice way to slaughter if we compare different methods how animals can be killed) after those sick camps where nazis killed humans with gas. Did he actually do something he think is really wrong after all? I'm sure (ok, I know)" /> that many people would say "How can you compare those two things?!?!?! YOU CRAZY BITCH!!!" But the main point is that I don't understand why people accept some ways to kill but some ways not. Racism is bad but speciesism isn't? Doesn't sound like logical to me. I'm really ashamed of us.
Guess what is behind this gate? Nothing better than was here.
Two days ago 200 pigs were killed again here in Finland (or it was on the news then, it happened earlier but of course it wasn't so important thing that any newspaper would've told about it before) because of "humane tragedy". Like always. Of course that is understandable.
Luckily I can forget all the bad things and go and read Garfield, mouse-friendly cat
